Source:@debdaniel It is the first official day of lockdown. I didn’t wish to be back here but I can’t say I’m surprised. No, I had expected such a thing following Germany‘s announcement to enter lockdown about two weeks ago as France soon followed. Belgium was next in line and finally on Sunday it was announced that the U.K. would enter lockdown by midnight Thursday.
I had made sure to see those that I could before the dreaded lockdown, that being said I had only managed to see a few . I am not currently dismal, my spirits are up and I shall use this time effectively .
At least this time around it’s not the summer holidays which makes life less depressing. I can use my time to read, fast, study, jog, practice my Dutch. I suppose my response will change day by day, even hour by hour, I will attempt to cease the day.
I’m allowed to see one person outside the household at a time, I will make the most of it. Nothing is open of course as all services have been forced to close so our time together will be spent in nature.
Currently, I am water fasting . I officially started at around 11 pm so it has been around 17 hours. I usually intermittent fast for at last 16 hours a day but there are days that I do break the fast early.
I am determined to not be weak. Sacrifices have to be made and fasting does have various proven benefits which are unrelated to weight loss , such as protecting you from diabetes.
